  1. Welcome to the Installation of Cubase Score 3.04 Demo for Windows!

  3. PLEASE INSTALL ACROBAT READER FIRST
  4. To install Acrobat Reader 2.1 on your hard drive, from the 
  5. Windows Program Manager, choose Run from the File menu, then type 
  6.  
  7.     [CD ROM Drive]:\ACROREAD.EXE 
  8.  
  9. Follow the instructions on your screen.

  12. INSTALLATION MANUAL
  13. You will find an Installation Manual in the directory called 
  14. "Manual". 
  15. Please take a look before installing the Cubase Score Demo. 
  16. There are also excerpts from the complete Cubase Score Manual 
  17. (Audiotut.pdf, Getstart.pdf, Scortut.pdf).

  20. SETUP MME
  21. At the end of a successful installation a utility called Setup MME
  22. will be launched. This allows you to change the name and order of 
  23. your MIDI interfaces. Cancel this program if you wish - you can 
  24. always make those changes later. Also see the file SETUPMME.WRI.

  26. READ ME
  27. After installation you will find a directory next to your
  28. new program, called READ_ME. This contains a number of Windows
  29. Write files, describing changes to the program since the
  30. manual was written, and giving answers to common questions etc.
  31. Please open these files and read them!

  33. WINDOWS 95
  34. If you run Windows 95, installation is slightly different from 
  35. that described in the manual, but the general procedure is the 
  36. same. Please refer to the document CUBWIN95.WRI after 
  37. installation for more info, and also read the section on
  38. "Optimizing Windows 95 for Cubase Audio".

  40. Demosong
  41. There is a directory called DEMOSONG on this CD-ROM. In this directory 
  42. you'll find a file called "install.exe".
  43. Please run "install.exe" to install the DEMOSONG on to your hard 
  44. disk before loading the Demo Songs (DEMO8T.ALL or DEMO2T.ALL) into 
  45. Cubase. DEMOSONG requires about 40 MB free hard disk space. The song 
  46. DEMO2T.ALL is created for computer setups with the ability to play 
  47. back more than 4 simultaneous mono tracks, DEMO8T.ALL requires 8, 
  48. please check the Performance Tester results.
